My name is Similoluwa Akinbode from Abeokuta, Nigeria. After a short teaching career, I got into design in 2019. Since then, I have helped to ideate and design several products across different industries including real estate, gaming, fintech, safety and security. My design superpower, which I believe derives from years of teaching complex subjects to kids, is breaking down the most complex ideas into simple successions of processes.

I have not lost my sense of wonder and I particularly love swimming in uncharted waters, which is where I believe groundbreaking  work gets done.

It’s not all work though. I love football, basketball and I spend an inordinate amount of time re-watching shows.
